libcupsmime1-dev software package provides Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - Development files MIME library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcupsmime1-dev
libcupsmime1-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcupsmime1-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcupsmime1-dev *
You will get with libcupsmime1-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
